Elegance in a small Conference Room

A small conference room could look like this - couldn't it? The image on the wall of this elegant interior is Tourmaline I. The painting repeats the modern window blinds with their vertical pattern and is therefore the perfect completion for this room.

Spheres in a Modern Living Room or Lounge

This silk scroll Spheres looks best on a black wall. Composed with white designer furniture gives it an elegant and sublime look. Light is important in this setting because only then the beaded scroll will reveal its secrets - the sparkling of hundreds of glass beads...
You can check it out here

The Sun in the Bedroom...

Here the same silk scroll as before has been turned into a silk painting mounted on a stretcher frame. Another possibility to transform silk scrolls if you want to give them an extra nice setting. Sun is from the Hidden Gems series (about minerals and crystals)
Please see detail photos here - an English description will follow later...

An Asian style Silk Scroll in a Moroccan House...

You think this does not work? But it does!
This is one of my most favourite houses of this style. The colour is just unbelievable. And if you think hard about it - this house could be at many places in southern regions of this planet not to speak of hanging that silk scroll which is called The Palace.
If you would like to see detailed photos of this scroll please check this link here (don't forget to click on the image for enlargement).

The Vision...of a perfect Sunroom

I thought about another setting for the painted Silk Scroll The Vision. Why not hanging something on a big window as a kind of shading after the glass has been darkened...
It is out of question that the delicate ornaments of the scroll go very well together with the sophisticated decoration of a Moroccan/eastern style interior.
This scroll has been described in detail here

The Dragon - an Art Quilt in the Foyer

Admitted - this is only a very spare interior but imagine what you could do with a silk quilt on the wall like that one. Dragon would be everywhere an eyecatcher especially for people who love this lucky symbol. It adds an exotic flair to a room, especially due to the fact that this is not Chinese massware but an original. Detailed photos and description in English you will find here.

Bodhisattwa - a handcarved Paravent in a Modern Living Room

As you can imagine the size of this handcarved paravent requires a large room or hotel lounge. This example is only one idea of many to show that this Asian style art work can be combined easily with modern designed furniture. A pre-requisite would be that you don't have too many different colours in the room. But then it's your choice - isn't it?
If you would like to see more of this artwork please see here for detailed photos and description.

The Vision (the link here leads you to larger and detailed photos of the art work on my painter blog Images and Imagination) is from the Ornaments series, a little series of 3 handpainted silk scrolls, inspired by Indian culture and Buddhist art which invite you to touch, urge you to become part of it because of its vividness, colours, richness and wealth of forms.
