The Valley from Hawai'i in the Bedroom...

Don't you think this would bring marvellous dreams when you have such a painting on the wall in your bedroom, sweet memories of a holiday in Hawai'i, memories of luscious green valleys which look like velvet and the fragrance of Frangipani in your nose? You have never been to Hawai'i? Now then it is high time!
What about starting with the painting first to pre-set your vibes...

You would like to see some details of the painting? Here they are - please enjoy! This silk painting belongs to a whole series of landscape paintings - Magic Landscapes

The "what-if" Question in a Doorway...

I am a person who constantly asks that question "What, if...". Do you know what I mean?
I love to play with things, change colours, create new compositions out of old. I am constantly trying to materialize ideas, think about alternatives in a given context. So I have done here. I admit, this is a voluptious place and it requires a bit more than just the common.

I do paintings with the right context i.e. I create images with precious materials - silk is precious - isn't it? And in order to make an image even more precious I mount it in a frame that would fit into any precious environment - such as this one.

If you want to see details of the silk painting please check this link. It belongs to the Magic Landscapes series.

The Secrets of your Bedroom...

The most private room in the house is your bedroom. It is the place that is all yours, where there is no entry for any intruder, the place of your secret dreams, the place of your inner self, the place that is hidden before the public - that place that no foreigner will ever get to see, just like in a serail.
I brought India's exotic into this room - for no-one to see but just yourself...

A heavy, hand-carved, sculptured wall piece, named Mithunas, which means "lovers" and which took me more than 6 months to finish (inspired by India's temple ornamentation, however my own original design).
If you would like to see more detail please check this link on my website or click on the photo below.

DryLand - a Landscape in an open Living Room

This is one of my favourite silk paintings and called Dry Land. Details of the painting you can find by clicking on the link.
The warm colours of this open living space would be the perfect match for this painting and vice versa of course. Open spaces give you room for development in any direction. In the narrow environments of our cities this could be the place for feeling free and snug at the same time...

The Magic of Machu Picchu in the Bedroom...

Well - this is only a part of a showroom and people may not have floors like that in their own home but nevertheless it shows beautifully how matching colours and the elegance of simplicity of form can build up a magnificent composition.
This silk painting Machu Picchu may send you dreams you have never dreamt, dreams of adventure, discovery and the secrets of ancient cultures...
